The competence of the CEC included: carrying out, through the relevant bodies, directives and tasks of the STO of the RSFSR and monitoring the execution of all directives and tasks of an economic nature; observation and control over the work of all structures of Soviet authority in the field of economic development; development of a general economic plan of the republic on the basis of a single plan of the RSFSR and control over its implementation, monitoring the correct using all material resources. Liquidated at the end of 1924.
