The Plenipotentiary Representation of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars was formed under the People's Commissariat for National Affairs of the RSFSR in 1918. Turkestan Republic was transformed into the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic under the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on December 1, 1922. In connection with the national delimitation of Central Asia, it was liquidated on November 28, 1924 .
