By the Decree of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Turkestan ASSR dated June 21, 1922, the Office of the Commissioner of the State Insurance of the RSFSR in Central Asia was formed. On March 3, 1925, the latter was transformed into the Office of the Authorized State Insurance of the USSR for the Uzbek and Turkmen SSR, and on May 25, 1925, it was renamed the Central Asian Office of the State Insurance of the USSR. It was liquidated on 14 October, 1925.
