A self-supporting logging Office of the Resettlement Administration under the Council of Ministers of the Uzbekistan SSR was established by the order of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on May 7, 1946 and the decree of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbekistan SSR on May 23, 1946. The functions of the office included: harvesting and purchasing timber and manufacturing building parts, providing timber and building parts to resettlement farms, organizing forest points and bases, woodworking workshops and other subsidiary farms.
On the basis of the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR on October 19, 1950 and the order of the Resettlement Administration under the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR on April 11, 1951, the Construction Trust of the Resettlement Administration under the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR (Uzpereselenstroy) was formed on the basis of the logging office.
The Uzpereselenstroy trust was reorganized into the Department for Construction in Resettlement Collective Farms of the Main Resettlement Directorate under the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR on June 27, 1955. In accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR on March 26, 1956 and the Council of Ministers of the Uzbek SSR on April 14, 1956, the Department for Construction in Settlement Collective Farms was transferred to the departmental subordination of the Ministry of Urban and Rural Construction of the Uzbek SSR. Liquidated on the basis of the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Uzbekistan SSR on November 3, 1956.
