DEPARTMENT OF STATE INSURANCE OF THE PEOPLE’S COMMISSARY OF FINANCE OF UZBEK SSR (Uzgosstrakh)
Established by order of the Office of the authorized state insurance of the USSR for the Uzbek SSR and the Turkmen SSR on April 21, 1925.
CENTRAL ASIAN OFFICE OF THE MAIN DEPARTMENT OF STATE INSURANCE OF THE USSR (Central Asian Office of the State Insurance of the USSR)
By the Decree of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Turkestan ASSR dated June 21, 1922, the Office of the Commissioner of the State Insurance of the RSFSR in Central Asia was formed. On March 3, 1925, the latter was transformed into the Office of the Authorized State Insurance of the USSR for the Uzbek and Turkmen SSR, and on May 25, 1925, it was renamed the Central Asian Office of the State Insurance of the USSR. It was liquidated on 14 October, 1925.
UZBEK REPUBLICAN AGRICULTURAL BANK (Uzselkhozbank)
By the Decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR on credit reform dated January 30, 1930, “Tsentroselbank” was reorganized into the All-Union Agricultural Cooperative-Kolkhoz Bank, and Uzselkhozbank was transformed into a branch of the above bank.
UZBEK REPUBLICAN OFFICE OF THE ALL-UNION BANK FOR FINANCING CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION OF TRADE AND COOPERATION
By the Decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR dated August 17, 1936, on the basis of the liquidated All-Union Bank for Financing the Capital Construction of Cooperation (Vsekobank), the All-Union Bank for Financing the Capital Construction of Trade and Cooperation (Torgbank) was organized and its Uzbek Republican Office was created. The functions of the Uzbek branch of the Torgbank included financing capital construction and other investments of trade organizations and lending to organizations of trade cooperation and cooperation of the disabled. It was liquidated from January 1, 1957 on the basis of the order of the USSR Ministry of Finance dated September 3, 1956.
UZBEK REPUBLICAN OFFICE OF THE ALL-UNION COOPERATIVE BANK (Uzbek branch of Vsekobank)
Organized on July 5, 1932. It was liquidated in August, 1936.
CENTRAL ASIAN COMMERCIAL BANK (Sredazkombank)
The Central Asian Commercial Bank was organized in accordance with the decision of the Council of Labor and Defense of the USSR on January 31, 192-1. It was liquidated on April 1, 1930 and in connection with its merger with the Bank for Foreign Trade of the USSR.
CENTRAL ASIAN BRANCH OF THE COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BANK USSR (Central Asian branch of Torgprombank)
Established by the resolution of the STO of the RSFSR on September 1, 1922. It was liquidated in December 1927.
CENTRAL ASIAN OFFICE OF THE STATE BANK OF THE USSR
By order of the Council of People’s Commissars of the RSFSR on January 12, 1921, the State Bank of the RSFSR was established; in November of the same year, Central Asian office was opened, renamed in 1923 into the Central Asian office of the State Bank of the USSR.
It was abolished on the basis of the decision of the Central Committee of the All-Russian Communist Party (b) and the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR of October 3, 1934.
PEOPLE’S COMMISSARIAT OF FINANCE OF THE UZBEK SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC
Formed by the resolution of the Revolutionary Committee of the Uzbekistan SSR on November 22, 1921.
