By the Decree of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR dated August 17, 1936, on the basis of the liquidated All-Union Bank for Financing the Capital Construction of Cooperation (Vsekobank), the All-Union Bank for Financing the Capital Construction of Trade and Cooperation (Torgbank) was organized and its Uzbek Republican Office was created. The functions of the Uzbek branch of the Torgbank included financing capital construction and other investments of trade organizations and lending to organizations of trade cooperation and cooperation of the disabled. It was liquidated from January 1, 1957 on the basis of the order of the USSR Ministry of Finance dated September 3, 1956.
