Organization history
Established by the order of the Central Council of National Economy of the Turkestan ASSR on July 12, 1919, the Textile Department (Turktextil) was formed under it and was transformed into the General Department of Textile Industry of the Turkestan ASSR on March 22, 1921. Liquidated on the decision of the Presidium of the Central Council of National Economy of the Turkestan ASSR on September 20, 1921.
