Organization history
The state tobacco monopoly "Tabakmonopol" was established by the decree of the Turkestan Central Executive Committee on March 13, 1919 and was transformed into the main department of the tobacco industry of the Central Council of the National Economy of the Turkestan ASSR (Turktabak) on August 9, 1921. Liquidated on November 2, 1922.
