The Central Department of the criminal investigation department at the People’s Commissariat of the Interior of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was formed in January of the month 1920 in Tashkent city. In November 25, 1924 it was liquidated.

In 1919, in Tashkent under the People’s Commissariat of Internal and Foreign Affairs of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the courses of police instructors functioned. By the Decree of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic No. 220 dated November 14, 1922, in order to combine all places of conclusion and establish them, the correctional labor department of the People’s Commissariat of Justice of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was reorganized into the management of the People’s Commissariat of the Interior of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. The Office of the Places of Confession of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was liquidated on November 22, 1924 in connection with the national demarcation of Central Asia

The first indication of the creation of the police of a new type was the order of the People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs of the Russian Republic “On Working Police” on October 28, 1917. The order ordered “all the advice of workers and soldiers’ deputies to establish a“working police ”to guide and support revolutionary discipline”

The Main Directorate of the Communal Economy of the People’s Commissariat of Internal Affairs of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was organized on June 11-18, 1922 at the 1st All-Trincian Congress of the heads of regional and district city departments of administrations, police chiefs and heads of the city communal department.

The Turkestan branch of the Main Disciplinary Court under the Central Executive Committee of the Councils of the Turkestan Soviet Socialist Republic was organized on August 2, 1924. It is not possible to establish the date of liquidation of the court for the 

It was formed in accordance with the Decree of the All -Russian Central Executive Committee on March 18, 1920. It was liquidated on the basis of the circular of the People’s Commissariat of Justice and the Supreme Court of the RSFSR on December 1, 1923.

On April 2, 1918, the Tashkent Revolutionary Tribunal began to function, which was transformed by order of the Turkestan Central Executive Committee on May 6, 1919 into the Supreme Revolutionary Tribunal under the Central Executive Committee of the Turkestan ASSR. It was liquidated on the basis of the decision of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on November 11, 1922.

It was formed by a resolution of the All -Russian Central Executive Committee of April 1, 1923. It was liquidated on December 12, 1924.
