The Department of rest houses and sanatoriums of the Uzsovprof was established on the basis of the decision of the Presidium of the Uzsovprof on October 8, 1934 and on September 13, 1937, in connection with the liquidation of the Uzsovprof, was reorganized into the Department of rest houses and sanatoriums of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions in Uzbekistan. In accordance with the decree of the Secretariat of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions on August 28, 1911, the Administration of Rest Homes and Sanatoriums of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions for Uzbekistan was reorganized into the Administration of Hospitals of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions for Uzbekistan and the Kirghiz SSR. In connection with the disbandment of hospitals after the end of the Great Patriotic War, in March 1946, the Hospital Administration was reorganized into the Administration of Resorts, Sanatoriums and Rest Homes of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions for the Uzbek and Kirghiz GCPs. It was liquidated on the basis of the decision of the Presidium of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions on April 7, 1956.
